ACP Sadananda A Tippanavar flag off the empowerment march
The march covered a 3-kilometre walkathon from LuLu Mall Bengaluru with the goal of spreading awareness about empowering women
Bengaluru: In celebration of International Women’s Day, LuLu Mall, in association with the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs (FOWE), conducted a special LuLu Walkathon and witnessed a huge participation of all genders. A sea of fitness enthusiasts and Multi-ethnic communities came together to participate with the goal of spreading awareness about empowerment and gender equality.
The walkathon raised for a social order to promote and support women entrepreneurs, highlighting their significant contributions to various industries and gender parity to raise awareness, promote and inspire women in leadership, and empower women in multiple sectors.
The event, which was attended by massive people and spearheaded to inspire women in leadership. Sadananda A. Tippanavar, Assistant commissioner of police flag off the empowerment march and handed over running bibs to the participants. The march covered a 3-kilometre walkathon from LuLu Mall in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, and the walkathon also included other events such as Zumba, dance, fitness training and children’s activities to keep the entire family engaged for the whole morning. The occasion was also graced with the presence of fitness queen Wanitha Ashok, bodybuilder Mamatha, and other dignitaries.

Along with this celebration of International Women’s Day, LuLu Funtura was conducted a women’s bowling tournament named Queenpin, which was also graced with huge participants and stroked with an amazing lane of tournament experience.
