Energy Minister K.J. George handed over a cheque for ₹1 crore to Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar at the Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday, representing an interim dividend from The Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd. to the government for the 2025-26 financial year. Additional Chief Secretary to the Government Gaurav Gupta, The Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd. Chairman Manohar, and Managing Director Anita C. were present on the occasion.
