World Environment Day -2024 – Drawing and Essay Writing Competitions for School children

Bangalore, June 01, (Karnataka Information):
Karnataka State Pollution Control Board will be conducting Drawing and Essay writing competitions for School children as a part of World Environment Day – 2024. Theme of competition is “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience”.
Competition is on June 04th 2024 (Tuesday) at 10.00 AM Place of competition is  Jawahar Bal Bhavan Premises, Cubbon Park,Bengaluru
Painting competition for Primary, Middle and High School students conducted at  10.30 am to 11.30 am and Essay Writing competition for High School students conducted at  12.30 pm to 01.30 pm
Theme for the competition is “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience”. Competitions are free of cost. Participants shall make own arrangement for reaching the venue at their own cost. Drawing sheets and Essay writing papers will be provided by KSPCB.Pencils, Painting Materials, Crayons, etc., are to be carried by the participant (students responsibility).
Painted drawing sheets and Essay written sheets of the participants can be handed over to KSPCB after completion. Students who are going to participate in the competitions are informed to be present at the venue 30 mins before commencement of the competitions. Selection of the prize winners will be by eminent judges and their decision will be final. First, Second, Third and consolation prizes of winners in each category will be distributed on World Environment Day 2024. Snacks will be provided to the participants after the competitions.
