


To strengthen the strength of the agriculture sector in Karnataka, increase farmers’ income and expand processing and value addition activities, the Centre and the State Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the governments will cooperate.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the International Trade Fair – 2026 Post-Production Agriculture – Farmers Empowerment organized by the Department of Agriculture at Tripuravasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru today Karnataka’s agricultural diversity is such that the state’s coffee gives strength to the world, sandalwood gives freshness, Silk brings global recognition, and coconut provides health and taste. He said that cereals contribute to nutrition and health at the global level.
Prizes were distributed to the best exhibition stalls at the event. The book Field of Purpose was released. The entire Grand Challenge-2026 video was screened.
The program was attended by Karnataka Agricultural Prices Commission Chairman (retd) Ashok M Dalwai, Karnataka State Seed Corporation Limited Chairman M Anjanappa, Karnataka State Seed and Organic Certification Board Chairman Smt.
