Karnataka is a state located in the southwestern region of India and is known for its diverse population, rich cultural heritage, and economic prowess. The 2023 Karnataka Assembly Election was a closely contested battle between the BJP and the Indian National Congress (INC).
On the evening of May 10, 2023, voting ended in the Karnataka assembly elections. Some exit polling organizations have predicted a tie in the Assembly, while others have shown a tiny edge for the Congress, with HD Kumaraswamy’s Janata Dal (Secular) playing a significant role.The election saw a voter turnout of 65.69% with a total of 34,988,756 voters casting their votes. The state has a total of 224 constituencies, and the party that manages to secure a simple majority of 112 seats is declared the winner.

Issues faced in JP Nagar.
“The roads in JP Nagar are not properly tarred using good quality equipment. And some of the residents complaint that before the elections the roads are in a proper condition, But just after the elections they come back to their real state with potholes. And also every phase of JP Nagar is dumped with garbage.
In addition to this, The area’s is plagued by numerous problems such as improper garbage disposal , lack of sewerage, and the residents complaint saying that their is a major problem with parking.
The residents also told there is frequent power cuts, due to the heavy rain. And in some area’s people are facing water supply issues.This time their is a tight competition between BJP and Congress in JP Nagar, hence the residents of JP Nagar are eagerly waiting to know the results .
We tried connecting with the candidate of JP Nagar but there was no response from the candidate even after alot of efforts in connecting to them regarding the same .

BTM residents are facing unscheduled power cuts due to the rain. When asked a resident of BTM, she said, the cauvery water isn’t supplied as per the dates scheduled.When everything else is looked after and well maintained, some parts of the main streets are dumped with garbage.
‘Syed Inam Althaf, of the BTM constituency ward no. 176, said that most of the things are developed here, and there is no such issues to be addressed.The power cuts are due to the trees falling while its raining, but the issue is addressed soon by the BESCOM. ‘

When everything else is looked after and well maintained, some parts of the main streets are dumped with garbage.According to the residents, there were rallies conducted on the main roads, but not on the inner streets. Though the election are on its peak, the candidates haven’t visited the houses.
