Bengaluru, February 18 (Karnataka Information) :Karnataka Public Works Department, will conduct Road Traffic Survey on PWD roads in the State.
Road Traffic Survey will be conducted for the present year 2022 on State Highways and Major District Roads in the State from 6.00 AM on 23 February 2022 to 6.00 AM on 25 February 2022 for a period of 2 days. The present Survey covers 4463 Count Posts situated on State Highways and Major District Roads in the state. The objective of the Survey is to assess the traffic volume on different category of roads in the state, which will enable the Government to take decisions for improvements to existing roads. upgradation of roads to the higher categories, surface improvements, widening of roads etc.
The Traffic Survey data will be collected at the Count Posts by the nominated traffic enumerator’s viz.. Assistant Engineer / Junior Engineers at about 4463 Count Posts in the state. All the vehicle operators and public in general are requested to co-operate for the Road Traffic Survey on these days i.e, 23″” to 25 February 2022.
